Primitive Witch Key or handbag Chain

Here is a newly made handbag charm or could be used as a keyring. Had great fun making this, love the little charm showing a little Witch leaning on her book of Witchcraft. Please click the pictures to make them bigger.

On the Trail of Matthew Hopkins Witchfinder General

Final resting place of Matthew Hopkins???A picture of where the ducking took place of the women accused of "witchcraft" - is that dust or could it be orbs?

Church at Mistley, Essex

Went on a paranormal evening with friends to Mistley, Essex in search of Matthew Hopkins, the Witchfinder General. Saw the place where the unfortunate women were ducked and also the alledged burial site of MH. If that is true, I wonder why he wasnt buried in consecrated ground.

Welcome to my new b log.

I love folklore and history surrounding Witches and Halloween. My interest started when I was about 12 years old (many moons ago!!!) when my parents took me to visit Wookey Hole in Somerset and have been interested ever since. I would love to go there again one day.
